1. Adjust the fit so the headguard sits snugly but comfortably around baby's head.
2. Fasten the chin strap securely, leaving enough room to fit two fingers underneath.
3. Put the headguard on before crawling, standing, or walking practice, and remove it once playtime is over.
4. Check regularly that baby is comfortable and not overheating, especially in warm rooms.
5. Hand wash and air dry the headguard as needed to keep it fresh.

This headguard is designed to cushion everyday bumps during supervised indoor play and doesn't protect against all injuries. It is not a substitute for close adult supervision, and shouldn't be used during sleep, in a cot, in a car seat, or unsupervised.
